The 14n will have firmware upgradeable by user.  However, price went up by
$1000 to $5000

Same for the Kodak Pro DCS-14.  On the other hand seeing all the 
disasters with computer firmware updates told and retold on the web, 
maybe it is wise on the part of the manufacturer.  You get the 
firmware update done correctly or you can return it instead of going 
on the web and asking for help.

I was amused by the description of the Kodak as being so wonderful 
because of its compact size and light weight, comparatively.  I 
checked the specs and the body weighs 2 pounds, over 900 grams.  I 
guess OM users are spoiled.
