Your point is right, for now, but I'm not so sure the OM-PC is really the camera for this job in practice. I just tried it out on 4* of them in my rather dim (when I'm working on the computer) study. I don't think the meter is really that great for high speed film in low light. At f1.8, with 400 speed set, the meter smoothly moves from 1/15 through 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 to 1/Longer. With 800 speed set, it jumps between 1/8 and 1/L without taking any intermediate steps. The actual Auto exposure will likely be correct, and you can use manual, but you don't have any idea what the actual exposure will/should be. At f2.8, they only skip 1/2 sec. Works the same with a 50/1.4 at 1/4.

*OK, I may(?) have too many OM-PCs, but I really like them, and people say they get some dread circuit disease and die, and I bought a couple cheap as parts cameras and I fixed them or they only needed proper batteries or something, and, and .........

I noticed that for $75 one can buy an OM-PC body, mount a world-class $25
50mm Zuiko mij f/1.8, load up some Fuji 800 film, and have a very capable
available-darkness tool.
