I bought 3 parts zoom lenses from Henry's in Toronto a while ago. They all
had aperture problems. I've repaired them so that the apertures are working,
at least right now, and am selling or trading at least two of them ( maybe
all three). I don't like them, and I'm quite certain you won't either. But
maybe you think you want a beater zoom that you can let your kids play with,
or you can hang around your neck on a rock climbing trip, or use to
photograph salt water waves crashing around you on the rocks, etc. If you
are stubborn enough to think you'd actually want one after this fair
warning, well, at least I was up front with you. :-)
......Snip........
1st lens: has rear cap only, is missing the cosmetic ring on the front which
had the lens info printed on it. It doesn't affect the operation, but it
does make the lens look cheapy, which is what it is anyway. For this lens
I'd like to trade for either:
1. OM2s ttl cap + 2 decent quality 49mm skylight or UV filters
2. OM2s ttl cap + 3 rolls velvia 36exp
3. 3 rolls of velvia 36 exp.
4. $12 US + shipping

2nd lens: has both caps, but the front cap has a few scratches on it. Don't
ask me why, as the rest of the lens looks new. This one I'll trade for:
1. OM2s ttl cap + a decent quality 49mm circular polarizer
2. The ttl cap + 5 rolls of 35mm velvia 36 exp.
3. Okay then, the ttl cap + 4 rolls of 35mm velvia 36 exp.
4. 4 rolls of 35mm slide film 36 exp. (I like Kodachrome 64, too :-) )
5. $15 US + shipping

3rd lens: has rear cap only, no box or papers. My son has it, so I'm not
even sure I can get it back from him. But if someone had a decent 50/1.8
they wanted to trade, say a Japan version even, I think I could talk him out
of it, especially if it came with a filter..

Wayne
