Hello everybody,

I just returned from a 4 day trip through Morocco. A fantastic country with
fabulous landscapes, nice people and nice food (VERY important for a
Belgian:). Approx. 1200km of bus travel to 4 cities, 3 times trough the
Atlas mountains and lots of desert, 9 rolls of 36 film, I hope the results
will be as I hope for.
I took an OM4Ti, 21f3.5, 35 shift, 40f2 and 85f2 with me.
The 40 got used most when strawling through medinas (old centres) because it
really looks cheap and uninteresting, has a nice somewhat wider angle, and
because of the rapid falling darkness, has f2.
However the 35 shift surprised me totally, I used it most of the time... In
the bus one can change the level of view a bit lower or higher as you wish,
in crowded areas where you don't want people in the picture (at least not
those white ones you are traveling with) you can shift it up, VERY
interesting with organised group travel!
The 21 was especially nice for pointing straight next to people which did
not really want to get in the picture, but were captured by the 21mm angle
of view anyway.
The size of the 21 and 40 is very similar and they easily fit in a small
place, rather convenient as well when I did not want to take a bag with me.
Now it is just waiting for the film to return and see the results.
So from now on my favourite travel combo is the 4Ti + 35 shift.

Iwert.

ps roads in Morocco are really good.
