I tried the HP flatbed scanner with 35mm adapter, but took it back. I also
tried the Epson 1650 with 35mm, it was better but still not satisfactory for
me. And I am not nearly as discriminating as some on the list I'm sure :-)
I'd be interested in some scans of something you've done from slides, if you
have any you could post. I see the HP Photosmart S20 goes for about $200 or
less, even from B&H, so it might be in my category if it were satisfactory.
I can't find it anywhere available in Canada, so far, so would not have the
option of returning it.

Another angle is, I see N*ikon has available a 35m slide copy adaptor for
their digital cameras. (Maybe Olympus has them available too, but Olympus'
C5050 brochure that I have is just pathetic for information compared to
N*kon's.)  I wonder what this would do for getting slide and negative pics
on the 'puter? Anyone tried copying slides or negs with a good digital
camera with adapter?
