Wayne, The old model PhotoSmart looks just like the S20 except it is
SCSI, a plus in my book. Maybe there are other differences but the specs
look the same. Basically 2400dpi. It was easy to set and has worked
flawlessly. Here are a couple links.

The second one looks like a pretty good deal. The Skuzzy card that comes
with is ISA but if you have an older computer that's no problem or you
can buy a cheap PCI card and still have a cheap scanner. No ICE software
may be a hassle but I'm supicious of it myself and would only use it for
web photos. I can't believe it can always correctly figure out which
specks to filter out. There must be loss.
