It is because trigonometric functions (sin, cos, tan) are not
linear functions. ;-)
Your last question was a bit different. The 135mm answer was
given with respect to the angel of field.

When you ask with this way, I'd guess you refer to the 
size of your subject on the film at a given distance.

Under this magnification aspect the answer surly is 150mm
is in the middle.

P.S. when you refer to the covered field area, the 141mm
answer is the one you want.
