Sorry - didn't mean to kick off a gun argument, just wanted to make the
point that American photographers are far more likely to also be gun-owners
than UK or European photographers, and if lots of American photographers own
guns it doesn't imply any connection at all between desire to photograph and
desire to shoot. Please take this as an entirely neutral statement intended
only to point out an invalid syllogism, and my apologies for wording it a
little too provocatively in my previous e-mail.
