My family was thinknig of getting digital cable. I've
seen digital cable and it absolutely stinks. Image
quality is not number 1. After explaining this to them
and them seeing digital cable at Circut City they
agree that even when normal cable has its hiccups it's
still better. I like DVD's though even though they may
have artifacts and such their convenience, generally
clearer picture and better audio (I'm not an
audiophile) make them the winner over VHS.
