And as for this thread..... can you image just how annoying it is when 'er
indoors bought me the LOR part I DVD set for Christmas but... we ain't got
no bl**dy DVD player. Had to go out and buy a new TV+DVD combo but it don't
arrive for a couple of weeks..... and I can't see this two towers one until
I've seen the first.

I must confess that I did not pay attention to that Orc's accent, but
I think that you are right. In fact most of the baddies had East
London or Cockney accents, perhaps as an easy signpost to their evil
intent. Yes, I do hope that no Londoners are listening... and if
they are, that they take my comment as one of artistic or aesthetic
perspective, not as practical condemnation of all Londoners (even
East Londoners ;-)) as evil or criminal. In fact some of my best
friends are from Bow and Mile End. I once went out with a nurse from
the Middlesex Hospital...
