Yes, the image will be significanty brighter with a Beattie screen. 
However, there isn't much difference between an Olympus series 2 screen and
the Beattie's.  And the OM screen is usually available for ~$40, whereas
the Beattie is typically more expensive.  I've used both.

Hi,

can anybody, especially somebody in germany, tell about his experience with
Beattie Intescreens in an OM 3/4 (Ti) ?

I am a lifelong eyeglass wearer and need the viewfinder more bright.

So what i want to know is, will i better look through the viewfinder, when
i take an Beattie Intescreen 
82404: Plain matte, w/ diagonal split image NO grid lines.

in an OM 3.

Excuse my technical english, my college time is more than twenty years away.
