Since I'm not a zuikoholic my thoughts probably don't count for much.
It's pretty easy to get a Tamron 300mm f2.8 or less easy to get a Tamron
400mm f4 for less than $900. In addition to one of these you could also
buy a 24mm shift and a big pile of film for what the 250mm f2 goes for.
The Tamron weighs 5lbs. vs. the 3.9Kg for the Zuiko. There are a LOT of
people that must be able to put that big white Zuiko to better use than
me.

Actually the 24mm shift and 400mm Tamron have probably got more use over
the last year than any of my other lenses. I normally have a 35-xx
mounted on the camera but the others seem to have taken more pictures.
Eventually I suspect the 35mm shift will get more use than the 24mm. The
24mm is relatively new to me. I've probably had the 35mm shift for 20
years or so.

... and thanks Mike for pointing out Calypso. The 16x20 prints they made
for me put a big smile on my face and a couple people I gave some to.

Seems like a 250 + 1.4XA might be a good alternative setup and more
flexible
than the 350/2.8 for about the same money. Anybody got any thoughts on
this...?
