As I've often been shooting in Ottawa, where I grew up, I've also had to
contend with low temperature shooting. In January at dawn it's often in the
-20C range. Not extreme cold, but I don't even really trust my OM-1 at that
temperature due to battery chill (besides, most things are white, so
metering has to be done carefully). Fortunately everything else still works,
so I use the L-398. Doesn't even *have* batteries.

Interesting - I got hexagons with my 50/3.5 - I'll have to see whether I
kept the slide, or maybe run more tests when there are living things outside
again. :-) Or test inside.
