We get inundated with so much bullshit from the self-anointed,
pretentious, so-called elite (see the recent Susan Sontag thread)
that we sometimes are intimidated into forgetting that our own
opinions are at least as astute and valid as theirs. Because of
the shallowness of today's media morons, far too much attention is
paid to the all-too-frequently idiotic ruminations of the over-
paid and undeservedly-worshiped practitioners of the scribbling,
warbling and gesturing arts.
Like the coal miner in the middle, we all need to go home for
lunch every once in a while so we can stay in the pink.
