That thought did cross my mind. The Canon D1s was on the left in the picture
of the two cameras on their tripods, and it actually looked bigger than the
Pentax 6x7. I handled a D1s body with a 50/1.4 lens at Macworld... its
heavy, very easily heavier than two OM-4's together. Nicely shaped, but like
holding a large square blob of camera. I don't know that I'd like the Pentax
6x7 much more, but at least for that large bulk and weight you get a large
negative as well. I guess what most struck me while handling the D1s was
that although its $8000+ now, in two years it will be 1/4 that or less...
for that much money I'd buy four Leica's <g> or a 'big white' Zuiko or
two...
