Bought an Olympus OM10 when they first came out for use as a "knockabout"
camera. Proved to be indestructable. Used it where I was afraid to damage my
"good" Olympus equipment. It survived many caving trips..both sealed in a
foam padded ammunition box and carried loose! Set to "autopilot" it always
produced the goods ..no matter how wet it got.Also used it for many hiking
trips .Honourably retired it was then given to my daughter who still uses it
for Astro and general purpose work...although she has recently bought a
cheapo digi camera :-( The only problem is that the foam is starting to
crumble and should really be replaced. Not a bad record for the runt of the
