In my opinion the OM10 is a very competent camera. I've had mine since
some time in the 1980s. The only significant problem I have had is oily
magnet, not a worry so long as I have access to my technician (I'm still not
sure I can find my way to the magnet or I'd do it myself). Hasn't got all the
bells and whistles of the OM2 that I wanted in 1982, but for standard shots, it
will bring home the results every time.
To me, it isn't a runt at all; a valued member of my OM line-up.
