I sold my Tamron 90/2.8 for just under half what I paid for my Zuiko;
I am not sure how valid the 4.3/4.2 measurements are Dan, but you
omitted the fact that the Tamron goes to 1:1 without extra extension
tubes whereas the Zuiko needs 45mm of tube. The Zuiko is also quite
a bit heavier.
Well, my only answer is that the Zuiko gives me more pleasure to use
- whether or not that is a worthwhile measure is purely subjective ;-)
