That's easy. The length of 57 liters varies. It depends upon a great many
factors like the depth, the composition of the material, the temperature and
the age of the material.

For example, the length (and width and height) of 57 liters of 91%
isopropyl alcohol, after sitting on the tarmac at an airport in Ecuador for
one hour, will be nearly infinite.

On the other hand, 57 liters of red clay in the Antarctic, if concentrated
in a 10 meter high rectangular prism which is 10mm wide, will take up a mere
570 mm of distance, regardless of its age.
---
Proof: 1 liter = 0.001 cubic meter
10 meters high x 0.01m x 0.01m = 1 liter
10 meters high x 10mm wide x 10mm long= 1 liter
Multiplying both sides by 57 then,
10 meters high x 10mm wide x (10mm long * 57) = 57 liters
---
So 57 liters of red clay in the Antarctic will be about a half meter in
length for the rest of my natural life.

Clear? Hey, I'm always happy to help.
