Thanks! Actually, I didn't change anything else - the sunset color is brighter because I converted the Profile to sRGB, which is a trick I learned from a PhotoShop guy. He says often the web JPEG color looks washed out if left in Adobe RGB mode. The first one is from a mass conversion of the scanned in files, so there is no chance for modifying the profile. I should have taken the extra step in the first picture too.
