LOL!!! And, just to fill-in the final blanks, a "silvernose" lens is an
earlier version with earlier design. Some (AG-schnozz among
them) claim that the earlier lenses give a very nice "warm" (or was
that cool?) image, or was that something about contrast??? Or was
that just something 'bout how they looked??? I dunno, but the
silvernose lenses are earlier than black nose.
