As far as I know, the newest lenses Olympus made for the OM system are the
best ones: 100/2, 90/2, 50/2 macro and the 350/2.8, 250/2 and 180/2. Also
the 50 mm AF macro got a very good rating in a test.
They probably took advantage of the better computer technology at the time
designing the lenses, compared to the older designs.
The 50-250 mm zoom is also a "new" design, but I don't know how good it is -
I've never tried it.
I have never tried the 90 mm, neither. According to German photo magazines,
it is only slightly better than the (much cheaper) Tamron 90/2.5 macro. But
the Zuiko is a faster lens and it might be unfair to compare the lenses of
different speed.

It's heavier, bigger, and the aperture ring is in the back of the lens. All
unlike any other Zuiko.
