And then, unless you're carrying way more stuff than you really 
need, there's this thing called a vest.  I haul lots of gear in 
the 4WD Toyota silver camera transporter.  But if I've got to tote 
stuff any distance away from the mobile stash, if it won't (a) fit 
in the many-pocketed vest I got from Cabela's; (b) hang 
conveniently around my neck, or (c) rest comfortably on my 
shoulder like a good Weatherby 7mm Magnum (which the Tamron 
300/2.8 and OM-4 combo on a tripod also do), then it stays in the 
SUV -- oops -- the camera transporter.  (Always trying not to be 
too politically incorrect.)
