I had some beattie screens where the screen was made with the matte on the
wrong side, OR the tab was in the wrong place.  I have never seen that on an
Olympus screen.

Either way, the matte (which should be facing up) was facing the mirror and
threw all focusing off.  If, somehow, the mirror stop got bent, that would
affect mirror angle and finder focus.  Easiest test is with a lens you know
to be good at infinity, point it at the horizon and focus it (which you have
already done. )  BUT is focus STILL good with the 1-13?
