One of the biggest factors will be price..

The 4/3's system should be easier to make less expensive lenses that are 
sharper and faster..  That was the original promise..
It seems like a no-brainer if I'm a C*non or N*kon user, to go with a 
digital body where my current lenses still work on it; and so switching 
to a whole different system has to be pretty compelling..  Especially 
there are no 4/3'rds used cheap lenses I can buy on evilbay as of yet..
I really hope Olympus doesn't screw this up...
