Thomas,
No arrogance spotted. You'll find information about these products at http://www.rhdesigns.co.uk/timers.html. Whether YOU' will need them or not, I really cannot say ;-) but they they seem practical and might save time and paper in the darkroom. The main advantage, I think, is that you can measure not only the exposure time but also the paper contrast needed before you've made any exposure of a neg. Of course, my knowledge is only theoretical - yet. Schnozz could probably elaborate on the matter. :-)

(ohh, and just in case...this question was meant to be "interrested",
since I am always looking for gadgets to ease my way in the dark.
Rereading it, I figure that it could appear "arrogant" or some such
thing - which was absolutely not intended. Sorry if I offended
anyone)

Ahmm, I lost track of most of this thread, however seeing as I live
a large fraction of my life in the darkroom, what are those devices
that I can apparently absolutely not live without...?

I've got an old (dark room) meeter, and trained eyes. Do I need
more?:)

Thanks, Schnozz,
Now I know what I'll do. I will have to let those 50mm 1.2 and
3.5 wait and go for the Analyzer Pro instead. I really cannot
afford your combo now. But when I saved that amount on paper,
then........-poo

Recommend them? Well, let me put it this way--I'll NEVER go
back into the darkroom without them again. There is no going
back to the old way. I'll completely switch over to digital
before giving up on these units.
