Just noticed an unusual Zuiko 50/1.8

Has no serial number on the front, and is not a "Made in Japan" version.
It's
a "Japan" version and I thought all those had the serial # on the front
ring.

It is the last versione before the "Made in Japan" one. I have one that
differs in serial number from the MIJ for only some thousands.
I could say that they are almost identical. I only noticed a very little
difference in only one of the 10 reflections they exibit (6 lenses in 4
groups = 10 reflexions), one is white and the other is light yellow (if I
remember exaclty).
