Slightly OT from Olympus gear . . .
Has anyone on the list used Alien Bees monolights?
If so, how would you rate them?
Any problems with reliability or durability?
Reason for questions:
Time to get some monolights. Don't want to "break the bank" doing it;
limited budget too. Read a good review on them a year or so ago by Bob
Shell in Photo Techniques. I respect his opinion and don't doubt the
veracity of his experience with them; wondering if others have had positive
experiences also.
