I had one that you could either use as a light table, with a snap-on slide
holder, or as a tabletop viewer. Is that the one you mean?
I found it not quite bright enough; the "screen" was slightly *too* opaque,
and left an effect of "graininess" when viewing. (in a very dark room),
I sold it on eBay, and now use a little handheld "trip souvenir" keychain
slide viewer for quick looks at slides.
