Does your Tamron have a smooth metal barrel or does it have an inset
ribbed rubber ring? If the former, then you probably have the hood,
which is stored reversed over the barrel.

Latest buy , for £2.50,
a LARGE lenshood which I thought might just fit my Tamron 500mm mirror lens.
However it is too big..
