The sprocket is one solid piece -- both the top and bottom teeth are molded into
the same part -- it _can't_ come apart, just like the OM-1, etc.

One occasional problem we've seen on the 2s is that the take-up spool "slips"
more than it should, meaning that it doesn't turn enough to keep the film snugly
wrapped around it.  The way to check is to load a test roll and fire off a dozen
shots or so, then open the back to see if the film is wrapped tightly around the
take-up spool.  If there's "slack", the spring in the take-up clutch needs to be
replaced with an "improved part".
