Yup, I'm now down in Auckland -- we've been here for a few months, we'll be
here for a few more, and then we're heading off for the rest of NZ for a
while; plans get increasingly fuzzy thereafter.
As for photos, I have probably a hundred rolls or so of film printed out
and waiting to be scanned in.. Shots of the first part of the trip are at
www.danielmitchell.net, in the 'Trip' gallery -- those were scanned by
taking shots of the prints with a digital [1] so they're not as crisp as I'd
like, but now I've got a real scanner the next ones should be more like it.
Finally got back on-list after sending in my second on-the-road TOPE
submission, and realising I should be keeping up with what's going on..

[1] I didn't want to carry unexposed film around any more than I had to, so
I got them all printed -- but then I had prints, which are a lot heavier,
and just the digital to help me lighten the load. It's not great, but it did
the job for now, and that let me post the prints back home to await my
eventual return.
