You're right on most of these:
- Lesson 1: Don't close auctions when most people are off doing
something else (like working, as well).
- Lesson 2: If you find something you want that closes when other
people are doing something else, you may get a deal.
However, on the collar: I'm glad to see jonequinn has as little sense as a
buyer as he is outrageous as a seller. I just ordered in a collar direct
from Olympus through my local camera shop for about $36 CDN. His was no
bargain.
