Now I'm confused. Before going any further I want to make it clear that I
trust John entirely on this one. My problem is with an authorised repairer
in the UK with whom I had an argument based on the original posting. he
swore blind that a 10 prism wouldn't fit in my perfect - but - etched -
silvering OM1, which is of the very early variety (long pressure plate, and
a different rewind knob).
Is it possible that the part numbers changed at some point, leading him to
believe that the two are different just because of the relative age of the
drawings, or is there a part number "including foam" for the OM1? Or is it
just that he didn't want to do the job (most likely, I guess)?
