The in-camera-finder flash indicator is self-lighting. Why would you need to
use the display light?

Yes, that can happen. The answer? Don't let that accident happen. :-)

Yes, but you only have to do that when you load different film. It is'nt often
enough to be burdensome, IMO.

Yep. But most people don't use multi-flash very often, so it is seldom a

A window would be nice, but it doesn't exist (sorry). Taking up the slack in
the rewind knob will let you know that something is in there. Religiously
putting a note or film-box-top on the film reminder window is the best way.
