All of my cameras are much older than five years and they all meter the
same: accurately.
I bought an OM-1n for my daughter three years ago and sent it in to John H.
for an overhaul. From what he told me that one's meter was accurate as well
(though of course he converted it battery-wise).
Sounds like you've had especially bad luck with your meters.

Every OM I've ever owned that was more than 5 years old underexposed like
crazy. I'd bet that it needs to be tuned.
