The only Russian connection to cafedeparis that I can contrive is the
restaurant at the Hotel National in Moscow which rejoices in the name
Maxim's de Paris (in case any guests were under the misapprehension they
were in Kansas, Dorothy).

He may have used that one(and it does seem familiar), but I do not know. I
have been following his shenanigans since late 1998, and I know he has had a
lot of names. It seems the one I am thinking of had a Russian 'sound' about
it. I got outbid on one of his auctions that did not make reserve at some
astronomical amount, and then he contacted me to try to get me to buy it
outside eBay. I was still new to eBay, but did have enough common sense to
say no. I have been searching for that email since I printed it out, but can
not find it for the name. I posted a list of known names not too long ago,
but do not have the list available, and the name I am looking for escaped me
even then.
