I step forth with some trepidation. I would suppose that an attempt at
meeting would be possible. Maltby Café would be a wonderful place to meet
and eat
(http://chefmoz.org/United_States/WA/Snohomish/Maltby_Cafe957831579.html).
It's quite close to Flower World
(http://www.flowerworldusa.com/aboutus.html) which has quite lovely
(photogenic) grounds that they've recently done amazing things to (lovely
pond with a fountain, short walking path, rocked waterway with water wheel
etc.), which is coincidently right in my backyard. I'm offering merely a
suggestion here. Could be the jumping off point for further activities.

OK, I'm hunkering down in my foxhole...

Yes, I zipped pass La Conner when I did the one evening in Deception Pass
thing :-) That may be a good choice. Time wise would be June13 to the 17th
or so. I am from the SF Bay Area. Depending how much hiking we want to do,
we have done ~7 miles a day on vacations. Let me know if you want to
arrange for a get-together.

Thanks!
