Well good, this narrows it down to hunting one down (1-4) and getting a
2-4 for the 4Ti form Camtech @ 43.

That's correct in general, although there is probably new old stock
floating around somewhere. The 1-4N replaced it and is still available
new, with the principle difference being that the central circle on the
1-4 approximates the center weighted exposure on the 1(n) and 2(n)
bodies, while the smaller circle on the 1-4N approximates the spot meter
coverage of the 2S and 3 and 4 series bodies.
