[OM] OM-4Ti/1-8 Focus Screen on a 180mm?

I've just got a 1-8 which I bought to use with my 300/4.5 & the 500/8 I'm
still looking for!! So far I've only used it with my 35-105 zoom, which I
was using on close focus on flowers in the garden. It seemed fine for this,
my eyesight is not great and split-image & microprisms don't work for me.
I get the darkening at f2.8 & have great difficulty using these generally.
(Great excuse to buy fast lenses, though, my wife almost bought that one!)
My point is if it works with this zoom it should be fine on a 180. An SLR
means what you see is what you get, right? So if it looks right surely it
is? I intend to do some tests & see what it will work with, so I'll post &
let you know.

Andy

What result would I end up with on an OM-4Ti/1-8 Focus Screen on a
180mm?
Olympus shows it to be a no no.
