Now I'm not especially a Kodak fan (nor a detractor), but Elite Chrome 100
is a perfectly competent, OK slide film for many types of photography. It
didn't strike me as radically different from E100S, and I've been told
they're similar emulsions. I don't think it'll ruin an otherwise good shot,
if the shot suits a somewhat saturated, slightly warm film.

Now on the other hand I just tried some serious small-bird photography. It
was humbling. Birds that size don't stay still long - otherwise they could
be lunch. When I got my slides back I recalled Jan saying this a few months
ago and thought "Gee, I wish I'd shot that on cheaper film!"
