one of the car we bought had the smell of cigarettes, so i liberally
sprinkle arm & hammer all over the seats, floor mats, rear shelf, etc,
close all the windows, and let it sit a day or two in the very hot summer
sun and bake
vacuum it the day after, drive with windows down to let baking powder
residue blow off. day or two later, all gone.
