I've been trying to figure that out myself (the bokeh thing). I found
the answer on John Lind's site. Here's the link:

Down under "Depth of Field", you'll see a "Bokeh" link, the
explaination is there.
BTW, nice site John! After having my OMs up on the shelf for far too
long, my skills have gotten rather rusty, it was a good refresher on
the basics of composition.
