I think all of these price lists that we have are starting to show their age.
The last few 600mm lenses have sold in the $700-$800 range, not the $1200
range that Gary's list shows. Likewise there are examples where the price
lists show lower prices than current selling prices.

The price was ok, definitely on the lower end of the scale, just don't expect
to get $1200 for it unless jonequinn buys it :-)
