OK, are there different designs for the Tamron SP 300/2.8LD or is that
a pic of a different lens? I just recently got a Tamron SP 300/2.8LD
(Model 360B) off of *Bay and it looks significantly different from the
one pictured here. For starters, mine is charcoal grey, not cream
colored. And the tripod mount is between the focus ring and the
drop-in filter instead of in front of the focus ring.
