That sounded like fun Ken. I wonder what the Tomcat crew were thinking of? They must have known that what they were doing was illegal, and dangerous... did you get a photo?

Where was the airshow?

Next day, we went to the airshow.  Got to see the Blue Angels
again.  It's been 34 years since I've seen them.  Pretty
impressive.  However, the CF-18 demo was the most entertaining.
I've seen dozens of Pitts Specials hanging by the prop, but I've
never seen a fighter do it before.  Some intake on that beast.
He had it nearly stationary and nearly vertical.  The F-14 pilot
that opened the Friday show got immediately grounded and will
probably fly a desk for a while after he did a 360 less than
fifty feet off the tarmac and then buzzed the crowd.  Show
Control grounded him on-the-spot.
