Sounds stunning. There is a reason for the F18 after all (other than to keep McDonnell Douglass in business all those years ago) ;-0.

Yes.  Beautiful paint job on it too.  What an incredible
routine.  He did manouvers that I haven't seen since 1981 when
the F16 was first being shown off.

He did a square-cornered loop where he didn't pull up until the
very last instance and completed the loop no more than a hundred
feet off the ground.  He did more straight up and straight down
manouvers than Leo Lagenslager (RIP) did.

Another "Leo" type of stunt was the knife-edge loop.  This was
all rudder and exhaust nozzle.  This stunt is easy in a Pitts
(as long as it's to the left), but must be a totally different
dynamic in a jet. (plane does a loop like standard loop, except
the wings are 90 degrees to the horizon).
