I use a lens collimator with a series of front surface mirrors. Most
important mirror is one that goes into the body in place of the focus
screen. It usually does not need adjusting.

John,

Just out of curiousity, how do you guys manage to set such things as
the mirror angle accurately and repeatedly? Are there some special
per-camera-mode made tools that you use, or is it something that
there is a generic procedure (and generic tools) for doing? I can't
imagine that it's a repeated trial-and-error with sending films off
for development and then manually inspecting them for "correctness".

No, I am not trying to do this myself -- despite being an engineer, I
know better than to mess with things that I do not have the motorics
nor skills to mess with :)

I am just curious/facinated by such "magic" :)
