It's invalid as heck, for several reasons. Further, studies are showing that
it's not the act of holding a phone to one's ear, but rather the act of
having a conversation on the phone, that's the cause of whatever accidents
are attributable to cellphone use.

Like the similar law in NY, it's going to have a fair amount of effect on
sales of phone accessories and little effect on the accident rate.
