I think we all are concerned with it.
Whatever the digi cam (C*non, N*kon or ... E1)
the DOF seems to be a mysterious problem.
I recently read that DOF at for example f2.0 for
a SLR Digi cam (~1.6X) appears to be the same
as if the lens would be at f11 for a film SLR !!!
So good for Macro but what for portraits ??
And with a full-size CCD (expected by C.H.)
what could be the DOF ?
